About Us

Two Bridges Academy is a specialist provision for pupils aged 2-19 who have severe learning disabilities (SLD) or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).  Pupils may have co-existing conditions such as autistic spectrum condition (ASC) or complex medical needs. 

The academy is due to open in September 2024, with phased entry over three years, eventually providing places for 112 pupils.  A holistic curriculum, highly skilled staff and specialist facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory diet area and sensory room will support the needs of our pupils. 

Enable Trust are hugely grateful to Marlwood School and CSET for their support and ongoing flexibility through the construction process.  ISG Construction are building the Net Zero Carbon academy, and sustainability is a key factor in the design. Some specialist facilities will allow disability groups access to specialist sports facilities with purpose built changing facilities.
